PLEASE READ CAREFULLY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS BEFORE YOU RUN ANY PURCHASE RELATED TO YOUR PARTICIPATION AT CRES

Introduction

Cres.chances-world.com came to exist for one main purpose which is providing its clients the best possible professional, academic and official networking and knowledge building experience in regards to the renewable energy practices and its global updates. We aim to create a suitable environment for transparently exchange ideas on best practices, knowledge, doctrines, beliefs, policies, and entrepreneurships on the topic of renewable energy and its applications in real life.  To ensure a smooth flow of information and accordingly a successful participation, please carefully read and accept all the items mentioned hereafter in this section in order to enable us to provide the maximum standard of service.

A. FOR EXHIBITORS:

  1. To apply for exhibition, those who wish to exhibit (hereinafter referred to as the “Applicant”), shall, after understanding the purpose of the exhibition and consenting to the contents of this Agreement, fill out the specified exhibition application form with the required information, affix the signature of a representative to the form and send it (via email attachment) to “Chances for Marketing and Conference Organizing” (hereinafter referred to as the “Organizer”).
  2. An Agreement (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) will be deemed to have been formed at the point when, after taking receipt of the exhibition application and confirming and examining its contents, the Organizer sends a notice of acceptance (via email attachment) to the Applicant.
  3. Should the Organizer deem it necessary to investigate the Applicant to determine acceptance of the Applicant’s participation, the Applicant shall provide documentation and cooperation with the investigation as directed by the Organizer.
  4. If the Exhibitor wishes to exhibit jointly with a co-exhibitor, the Exhibitor shall, with the consent of the Organizer, register any and all co-exhibitors. Moreover, the Exhibitor shall bear responsibility for all co-exhibitors.

  1. Should the Organizer deem whatsoever reason, they may refuse participation in the exhibition without disclosure of reasons, before or after the conclusion of this Agreement. Some of the expected reasons of such refusal are and not limited to:
    1. ) Irrelevance to the exhibition core business;
    2. ) Poor reputation of the applicant on the economic, social, environmental, political, religious or ethnic front that the Organizer deem to be probable risk or danger against the reputation of the exhibition; or
    3. ) Breaching of the local laws, values, heritage or norms of the hosting country.

  1. The invoice of the exhibition fee shall be sent within 10 working days from the date of acceptance of the application.
  2. The Exhibitor, after receipt of an invoice shall, within the specified payment period (one month from the billing date), pay in full the exhibition fee stated on the invoice, either by cash transfer to a designated bank account or by sending a check made payable to the organizers’ name: Chances for Marketing and Conference Organizing LTD, Egypt. Further, if there is less than one month until the exhibition, the due date for payment will be one week before the first day of the exhibition.

  3. Payments by foreign exhibitors shall be made in US Dollar while payments by Egyptian exhibitors shall be paid by the equivalent in Egyptian Pound according to the official bank rate of the transaction date unless otherwise permitted by the exhibition organizer. The Organizer holds the right to request a penalty fee equivalent to any losses due to currency exchange up to 30% of the invoice value.
  4. For international transfers, please make sure to write the invoice number in the recipient information section of the overseas transfer request form.
  5. All bank transfer fees shall be paid by the Exhibitor.
  6. Should payment of the exhibition fee set forth in clause (2) be fully or partially delayed and should the Organizer, though, permit the Exhibitor to hold on the steps of participation, the Exhibitor shall pay 2% late charge to the Exhibitor for each 30 days of delay on the unpaid amount.
  7. If all or part of the requested fee is unpaid, the Exhibitor and his contractors will not be issued the exhibitor pass or vehicle pass necessary for exhibit preparation. In addition, they will be unable to purchase advertising media.

  1. The Organizer, upon receiving full payment of the invoiced exhibition fee, will allocate to the exhibitor a space in the exhibition venue equal to the area ordered in the application.
  2. The Exhibitor will entrust the allocation and arrangement of the booths to the sole discretion of the Organizer. Changes to the booth allocation may be made at any point before the exhibition dates.

  1. It is clearly stated that Exhibitor is fully aware of the core business of CRES event as a leading global Renewable Energy Industry gathering, and accordingly is willing to only exhibit the products, services and solutions that are directly relevant to the core business of the event.
  2. It is strictly prohibited to exhibit any irrelevant product/service/solution. The Organizer reserves the unquestioned right to remove any exhibited objects that is deemed likely to violate this clause.
  3. The Exhibitor shall respect the local laws, values, heritage and norms of the hosting country in terms of exhibited objects, dress codes, show styles and advertising materials.
  4. It is also clearly advised that Exhibitor is strictly prohibited from using the event to promote for or to denounce any particular ideological, religious, racism, ethnic, sextual or political cause by visual, audio, or printed materials or by using any symbol, code, icon, color theme or any other sign that distinguishes any group of people from others based on one or more of the above-mentioned criteria. 
  5. Although the Exhibitor indemnifies the Organizers from any legal or moral responsibility related to any of the above-mentioned items, the exhibitor reserves the full right to immediately annule the agreement and remove the violation. Such an action from the Organizers does not preclude claims for damages by the Exhibition organizers against the Exhibitor.

  1. The Exhibitor may not transfer or loan, in full or in part, the rights or obligations to the booth they have been permitted to use by the Exhibition organizers on the basis of this Agreement to another party (regardless of whether a transfer or loan fee is paid).

  1. Even after the formation of this Agreement, if the Organizer has grounds to refuse participation in accordance with the provisions in Article (B), or in any of the following circumstances, the Exhibition organizers reserve the right to annul this Agreement without notice. (1) If all or part of the exhibition fee is not paid before the due date for payment; (2) If the Exhibitor violates the terms of this Agreement; (3) If the Exhibitor uses the booth for purposes other than those intended; (4) If the Exhibitor violates the rules set forth in the exhibition guidelines of this Agreement (Article O), the exhibition manual, or the exhibition outline; (5) If the Exhibitor’s conduct brings the Exhibition organizers into disrepute; (6) If, for any other reason, it can be reasonably deemed that a relationship of mutual trust between the Exhibitor and the Organizer has been breached
  2. In the event that any of the preceding items applies to the Exhibitor, the Exhibition organizers reserve the right to immediately remove the Exhibitor from the exhibition venue. In this case, use of the booth and space of the Exhibitor concerned shall be determined at the sole discretion of the Exhibition organizers.
  3. If the Agreement is annulled under the provisions of clause 1, neither any exhibition fees which have already been paid nor any associated costs will be refunded.
  4. The provisions of clauses 1, 2 & 3 do not preclude claims for damages by the Organizer against the Exhibitor.

  1. The Exhibitor shall not be entitled to cancel this agreement without the express written permission of the Organiser and on terms acceptable to the Organiser.
  2. If the Exhibitor wishes to cancel this Agreement, they shall send a cancellation notice in writing including ① the Exhibitor’s name, ② the signature or, Alternatively, the name and stamp of the Exhibitor’s representative, ③ the name and contact information of the person in charge, ④ the date and time of the cancellation request and ⑤ the reason for the cancellation. The Agreement may be cancelled upon receiving the Organizer’s consent on the cancellation (hereinafter referred to as the “cancellation date”).
  3. If the cancellation is accepted by the Organizer, a cancellation fee will be charged as follows, depending on cancellation date:
    1. For cancellations made prior to Friday, February 16, 2024, 30% of the total exhibition fees will be required as a cancellation fee.
    2. For cancellations made between the day of Friday, February 17, 2024 and a date corresponding to 60 days prior to the day before the first day of the Exhibition, 50% of the total exhibition fees will be required as a cancellation fee.
    3. For cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the first day of the Exhibition, 100% of the total exhibition fees will be required as a cancellation fee.

  1. The Organizer will not issue a letter of guarantor for any exhibitor. It is the responsibility of the exhibitor to obtain the necessary documents to enter Egypt. Exhibitors are advised that cancellation fees policy referred to in article (H) applies in the event that the Exhibitor cannot obtain the necessary documents to enter Egypt.

  1. The Organizer shall, regarding the management and maintenance of the venue and the safe and smooth operation of the exhibition, take the highest possible care to avoid accidents, such as by deploying security guards around the venue. However, the Organizer shall bear no liability whatsoever, regardless of the reason, for any loss or damage to the Exhibitor’s exhibited items or property, nor any loss, damage or accident to the Exhibitor, visitors or any other third party due to the actions of Exhibitors.
  2. The Exhibitor indemnifies the Organiser against all actions, expenses, costs, charges, and claims which the Organiser or any of their contractors may be liable for in consequence or damage or injury to any person or property occasioned by or arising out of the act, default or negligence of the Exhibitor, his representatives or workmen or any person or persons or persons under his direction or any independent contractor engaged by him.

  1. All statutory liabilities arising out of the Exhibitor’s activities at the fair such as sales tax/VAT, octroi, customs duty, excise duty, service tax and/or any other taxes, levies or licenses required for their activities at the event will be exclusive responsibility and liability of the Exhibitor.

  1. Any disputes arising from the fulfilment of provisions contained in this “Terms and Conditions” shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of a civil court competent at the registered address of the Organiser. Any and all matters pertaining to the event not specifically covered by this contract and the rules and regulations as described in the Exhibitor’s Information & Order Book, shall be subject to determination by the Organiser. The Organiser reserve the right to add or alter these regulations at any time.

  1. The exhibition may be postponed/shortened/cancelled due to any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Organizers. The Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss sustained by the Exhibitor directly or indirectly, attributable to the elements of nature, force majeure or orders or directives imposed by any Governmental authorities. In such circumstances, the money paid by the exhibitors or any part thereof may be refunded at the sole discretion of the Organizers.

  1. Besides above-mention force majeure factor, the exhibition may be postponed/shortened/cancelled due to any cause whatsoever decided by the Organizers including but not limited to commercial unprofitability, merging or acquisition transactions, unfavorable economic conditions and so on.
  2. In such cases, the Organisers’ responsibility shall be constrained to the refunding of the same amount paid by the exhibitor to the organizers and shall not extend to any other expenses, fees, penalties, business opportunity losses or any whatsoever losses or damages that might occur to the exhibitor due to such decision. The refund plan shall be decided on the sole discretion of the Organizers.

  1. Use of public address systems, audio-visual systems and height of displays in the space booked is subject to no inconvenience to other participants and the Organiser decisions in this regard shall be final.
  2. The Exhibitor shall closely manage and store all confidential information regarding the operation and business of the Organizer learned through this Agreement, and shall not disclose or leak this information to a third party during the period of the Agreement or even after the termination of this Agreement, without obtaining the prior written consent of the Exhibition organizers.

  1. The exhibition guidelines provided by the Organizer following application shall be an extension of this Agreement and shall apply to both the Organizer and the Exhibitor.

B. FOR VISITORS & OTHER ATTENDEES:

  1. The visitor shall select the type of ticket that corresponds to the visitor’s profile. The type of ticket much accord with the status of the visitor as of the day of registration.   either by cash transfer to a designated bank account or by sending a check made payable to the organizers’ name: Chances for Marketing and Conference Organizing LTD, Egypt. Further, if there is less than one month until the exhibition, the due date for payment will be one week before the first day of the exhibition.
    1. Credit/Debit Card: A visitor can pay entry ticket fees by accessing to the online payment portal installed on the cres.chances-world.com website. It is clearly mentioned that the Organizers are always indemnified against any responsibility of credit/debit card fraud or hacking which is the absolute responsibility of the moderating bank.

  2. Payments by foreign visitors shall be made in US Dollar while payments by Egyptian exhibitors shall be paid by the equivalent in Egyptian Pound according to the official bank rate of the transaction date unless otherwise permitted by the exhibition organizer. The Organizer holds the right to request a penalty fee equivalent to any losses due to currency exchange up to 30% of the invoice value.
  3. All bank transfer fees shall be paid by the visitor.
  4. Once a visitor has purchased a ticket and after receiving a confirmation email with the ticket number, the visitor has to register on cres.chances-world.com as a visitor in order to get the necessary access badge.
  5. No ticket purchases are accepted on-site. Visitors need to make sure they have purchased the tickets and registered as visitors on cres.chances-world.com before accessing to the summit venue.

  1. Should the Organizers deem whatsoever reason, they may refuse, decline or cancel the registration of any participant in the exhibition without disclosure of reasons, even after purchasing the ticket(s) and even after issuing the entry badge. Some of the expected reasons of such refusal are and not limited to:
    1. ) suspected profile;
    2. ) Poor reputation of the applicant; suspected extremism or hatred speech; or
    3. ) previous bad experience violation of the local laws, values, heritage or norms of the hosting country.

  1. It is clearly stated that the visitor of CRES is fully aware of the core business of CRES event as a leading global Renewable Energy Industry gathering, and accordingly is willing to only exhibit the products, services and solutions that are directly relevant to the core business of the event.
  2. The visitor shall respect the local laws, values, heritage and norms of the hosting country in terms of language decency, dress codes, and carrying the necessary ID documents.
  3. It is also clearly advised that the visitors are strictly prohibited from using the event to promote for or to denounce any particular ideological, religious, racism, ethnic, sextual or political cause by visual, audio, or printed materials or by using any symbol, code, icon, color theme or any other sign that distinguishes any group of people from others based on one or more of the above-mentioned criteria. 
  4. Although the visitor indemnifies the Organizers from any legal or moral responsibility related to any of the above-mentioned items, the organizer reserves the full right to immediately annule the access badge and the participation of the visitor. Such an action from the Organizers does not preclude claims for damages, losses or insult by the Exhibition organizers against the visitor.

  1. The visitor’s ticket is valid within the premises of the summit which is announced on cres.chances-world.com in all areas that are announced as public. For the events that are taking place by the Organisers or any of the exhibitors and that are marked as private with invitation only, the ticket is not valid and is not enough substitute of a personal invitation.
  2. The visitor’s ticket is valid only during the exhibition days from 10th to 12th September within the working hours announced on cres.chances-world.com
  3. Once the ticket purchased, it is non-refundable and non-transferable. The name registered to the ticket is the only one entitled to access to the summit venue.

  1. It is clearly stated that CRES is a non-governmental event. The Organizers claim no connection with any of the authorities of the hosting country and accordingly will not issue a letter of guarantor for any visitor.
  2. It is the responsibility of the visitor to obtain the necessary documents to enter Egypt. Visitors are advised that in case they cannot obtain the necessary documents to enter Egypt, the ticket(s) purchased will not be refunded.

  1. The Organizer shall, regarding the management and maintenance of the venue and the safe and smooth operation of the exhibition, take the highest possible care to avoid accidents, such as by deploying security guards around the venue. However, the Organizer shall bear no liability whatsoever, regardless of the reason, for any loss or damage to the visitor’s belongings or any accident to the visitors or any other third party.
  2. The visitor indemnifies the Organiser against all actions, expenses, costs, charges, and claims which the Organiser or any of their contractors may be liable for in consequence or damage or injury to any person or property occasioned by or arising out of the act, default or negligence of the visitor or any persons under his direction.

  1. All statutory liabilities arising out of the visitor’s activities during at the event will be exclusive responsibility and liability of the Exhibitor.

Any disputes arising from the fulfilment of provisions contained in this “Terms and Conditions” shall be submitted to the jurisdiction of a civil court competent at the registered address of the Organiser.

Any and all matters pertaining to the event not specifically covered in these terms and conditions, shall be subject to determination by the Organizers. The Organizers reserve the right to add or alter these term and conditions at any time.

  1. The exhibition may be postponed/ shortened/ cancelled due to any cause whatsoever beyond the control of the Organizers. The Organizers shall not be responsible for any loss sustained by the visitor directly or indirectly, attributable to the elements of nature, force majeure or orders or directives imposed by any Governmental authorities.
  2. In such circumstances, the tickets purchased shall NOT be refunded.

  1. Besides above-mention force majeure factor, the exhibition may be postponed/shortened/cancelled due to any cause whatsoever decided by the Organizer’s including but not limited to commercial unprofitability, merging or acquisition transactions, unfavorable economic conditions and so on.
  2. The Organisers’ responsibility shall be constrained to the refunding of the same amount paid by the visitor to the organizers after deducting the transfer fees and shall not extend to any other travel expenses, fees, penalties, business opportunity losses or any whatsoever losses or damages that might occur to the visitor due to such decision.
  3. The refund plan shall be decided on the sole discretion of the Organizers.

  1. For the sake of a smooth event and a successful participation, all the visitors are kindly requested to abide by the rules and regulations announced on cres.chances-world.com or on-site during the summit.
